Artist's Comments

Quite possibly my new dog.

This three month old pup was found yesterday afternoon by my girlfriend near this place [link] prostrated by the curbside with a broken leg. Spent my whole evening running around emergency vet clinics to get her patched up. Was wondering what name to call her for reference sake (not because I have the facilities to keep her especially with two psycho cats who own me and my house) so when the vet murmured she's lucky (her leg is only broken below and above the knee but the joint is fine) the name stuck. Wish I could find her a better accomodation than my house but for the next three weeks (at least till she recovers) she's more than welcomed to stay here...

Note for dA sticklers: Can't really classify this deviation. It's not strictly speaking a photo (because there are two). It's not a polished piece because I still have to clean the noise (so it's not a deviation prim and proper) and this dog is certainly not domesticated but she's not wild either (she's just stray).

This picture was listed here [link] in the PHOTOGRAPHY: MAY EDITION feature by =eclipsic and others.

:cuddle:You have such a good heart my friend:cuddle:

I think this is a good serie of photos-- I don't think they alway have to be that polished-- even though your photos are amazing:heart: But these one's suits the story-- The photos are well emotional-- can't stop stearing her. They are realistic, and sort of decay- romantic.

I think I have to fav this one, like you always say:heart: for so many reasons:heart:

That is THE most adorable, sweet, pitiful, glorious little doggie photo I ever did see. How could anyone resist that face? Her markings are divine. Quick story... My ex husband and I wanted a boxer (dog) and went to a place to look at a litter. There were all these lovely little perfect puppies about 2 months old. Then, in the back of the room, there was a 3 month old boxer who wasn't perfect, wasn't show quality, wasn't breedable etc. We took him. He was named Lucky. Any animal named Lucky usually has a heartwarming story, just like this little gal.

The photo captures it all. :) and when you say (she's only a stray dog). with respect to categorizing her, this may be true, but I think you should reword your phrase and call her "stray art." She'd like that better. :arc:

Thanks for your kind comments! I once did create an (amateurish) CATalogue that I circulated by email to give away four kittens and their mum. I managed to resettle two and lost one but 'kept' the rest! Most of the photos I used have been revamped in the older part of my gallery.
